The .uk registrar Nominet conducted a poll recently with some interesting results. According to it’s published survey results, more than three-quarters (77%) of British consumers prefer a .uk to a .com when searching for information online.
The results indicate that consumers prefer to click on .uk links as they believe the websites would present the most appropriate and local information.
This indication is another good piece of news for ccTlds.
